欢迎来到网语吧大家庭。下一步该做些什么呢？下面的简单介绍能帮助你在几分钟内开始有效地开始跟外教学习英语。

注册与登录

虽然很多WeblishPal的功能是不需要注册就可以使用的，但是也有很多非常重要的功能，如跟老师联系、付款、注册课程、上课等都必须成为注册用户后才能使用。因此注册是非常重要的一步操作。在WeblishPal上注册是完全免费的。

点击屏幕右上角“你的帐号”下的“创建帐号”链接，你就会进入创建帐号对话框。

社交网络注册

如创建帐号对话框所示，WeblishPal的注册方式有两种：通过你的社交网络帐号注册，及非社交网络注册。

前者的好处是方便。你在社交网站上填写的用户信息，在经你同意后，会直接填入WebishPal的档案，省去了重复填写的繁琐。同时，你的WeblishPal帐号和你的社交网络帐号会深度集成，便于你分享你的学习经验，并跟老师或其他同学网络互动。

点击注册对话框中的任意一个社交平台按钮，你就会进入相应的社交平台验证页面。在这里以QQ为例：在点击QQ登录按钮后，你会进入QQ的登陆窗口。请注意，你这时是在QQ的页面上，你在这里输入的QQ号及密码，WeblishPal并不能获取 ——这是一切社交平台交互登录的安全认证基础。

等QQ验证了你的QQ号和密码、确认了你的身份后，你会被转回WeblishPal的注册界面。这时的注册€页面是黄色的，并且你的QQ用户名已经被填入。你可以任意修改这个页面的所有信息。在填写完所有必填项目后，你就会进入用户档案填写页面。在保存了你的用户档案后，你的注册过程就正式完成了。

如果你没有社交网络帐号，你也可以花几分钟手工填写各项信息而注册。
填写你的用户档案

你的用户档案能够帮助老师了解你的信息，以便更好地给你设计课程计划。

用户档案包含4个部分，概览、教育及工作、联系信息、及帐号设置。

概览页

在概览部分，你的全名和地址信息是必填项。

在这里，你也可以上传你的照片和视频自我介绍，还可以‘绑定’你的社交帐号。所谓“绑定”，就是将你的WeblishPal和你的社交帐号，比如微薄或QQ帐号联系在一起，这样你就可以通过这些社交帐号登录，同时你的学习心得也可方便地跟你的朋友分享。

如果任何时候你想取消绑定，你只需再点击这些绑定按钮及可。

教育及工作页

在这里填写跟你学习、工作相关的信息，分享你的学习目的、比如你要申请的学校、你要准备的考试、或者其他你感兴趣的东西。这些信息非常有助于老师了解你的学习兴趣，英语水平，情况，并根据你的需求帮助你设计学习计划及学习内容。

联系信息页

你的联系信息是跟老师沟通的重要信息，请认真填写。你的联系信息将不会出现在网站的任何地方。其他用户并不会知道你的这些聊天工具的帐号信息，所以你完全不用为你的隐私担心。

你填写的MSN、QQ、Skype用户名将会在上课时被用作视频聊天工具（可多项填写），而其他用户并不知道你的这些帐号信息就可以跟你在WeblishPal上交谈。比如，如果你在这里填写了你的Skype帐号，并且在课堂上大家选择的视频工具是Skype，那么在网络教室页面，课堂里的所有成员都可以跟你用Skype交流，虽然他们并不知道你的Skype的帐号名。

下图中，显示了你在档案中填写的聊天工具的帐号信息将如何网络教室中使用。

帐号设置页

在这里你可以管理你帐号的基本信息，如密码等。其中最重要的是你的时区设置。因为你在网上看见的所有时间都是以你在这里设置的时区为准的。对中国用户，请选择上海或重庆时区。
查找并选择教员

学员在WeblishPal上可以非常方便地查找教员信息。

点击“教员库”菜单，就进入教员列表页。在这里学员可以查找、浏览、联系、收藏教员。

教员档案页

在教员库页面，点击教员的名字或图像，就可进入教员档案页面，查看其详细信息。

在这里，学员可以收藏老师为好友、查看老师的授课数、课时费、及学员评价等信息，观看教员录像，并且能跟教员发短消息沟通。
浏览课程库页面

点击课程库菜单，学员可以浏览课程库。WeblishPal上的课程分两大类：真人对话类（Live Class)和资料课程类（Content Course)。

真人对话课程是指跟老师通过视频聊天工具进行上课的课程。一般这种课程按时间收费。

资料课程是指老师上传的资料课程。学生通过观看视频或下载资料学习，并不和老师直接交流。

点击课程图片可以进入相应的课程详情页面

资料课程详情页面

在资料课程详情页面里，学员可以购买资料（如果不是免费），并下载资料。也可以和老师短消息沟通，跟朋友分享课程信息，并对课程进行点评。

购买后的资料课程可通过“我的资料课程”菜单进入

真人对话课程页面

对话课程是通过跟老师视频通话上课，因此要跟老师约定上课时间。如果老师没有设定上课时间，学员可以通过点击绿色的协商课时按钮来跟老师协商上课时间。

协商号时间后，老师会设定上课时间。学员可以点击购买按钮注册课程。购买后，黄色的购买按钮就会变成进入按钮——学员就点击此按钮进入对话课程的课程管理页面了。

购买后的课程也会出现在“我的即将开始的对话课程”页面里。过期的对话课程则出现在“我的已经结束的对话课程”页面里。

课程管理页面

对话课程的管理页面是集视频通话、文件上传、学费管理、课堂讨论为一身的集中管理页面。
支付、管理课程费用

WeblishPal的课程费用支付托管（Escrow)功能确保学员在支付对话课程费用后，老师必须提供高质量的授课服务。

学费托管与释放

学员在注册对话课程时，其学费不是直接支付给老师，而是支付给学费托管中心（Escrow）。在上完课后，学员必须点击“同意老师收款”按钮，寄放在托管中心的费用才“释放”给老师。这时老师才真正的收到课时费。

老师催促学生放款

课程结束后，如无特殊问题，学员应立即同意老师收款。如果出于某种原因，学生忘记了放款，老师可以发出催款通知的短消息及电子邮件。在收到催款通知后48小时内学员必须作出回应，要么同意老师收款，要么发起学费纠纷仲裁请求。如果48小时后学员没有任何回应，其在托管中心的学费将自动发放给老师。

学员发起学费纠纷仲裁请求

如果学员不满意老师的服务，比如老师没有上课，或网络通讯质量太差而老师又不愿意另换上课时间等，学员可以发起学费纠纷仲裁请求。

一旦请求仲裁，在托管中心的学费就会被冻结——老师和学生此时都无权动用这比款，而将由WeblishPal在查看学生和老师提供的纠纷理由后决定是释放给老师还是返回给学生。不管决定结果如何，WeblishPal都要收取学费的30％作为仲裁费。

因为仲裁不是免费的，WeblishPal鼓励用户自行解决学费纠纷。
购买WeblishPal点数（Points）

什么是WeblishPal点数？

因为学生一般用人民币支付，而老师一般收美元和加币。为了让不同种货币间的支付和收费流程更简单更快捷, 我们创建了WeblishPal点数系统。

1加币 = 100WeblishPal点数 =6.5人民币(大约值, 实际支付时根据汇率会稍有偏差)。你可以通过人民币购买点数, 也可以用美元或加币等其他货币购买。在登录后，你可以在你的账户资料中管理你的WeblishPal点数。

学员可以点击财务管理菜单或右上角的点数余额进入点数购买页面。

在购买页面有三个购买方案，分别可以购买不同量的点数。点数购买也多，折扣也越大。

如果用人民币购买，请选用支付宝；如果用其他货币，请选用贝宝购买。

In this brief user guide for teachers, we will walk you through the key features to get you ready to start teaching on WeblishPal!

Grow your online teaching career – Start with a great Profile!
To start building your online teaching career, the first thing you want to get thoroughly completed is your teaching profile. It is the main way to communicate to students who you are, what your teaching experience is, and why you’re a great English tutor.

Here are just some of the things you can include on your profile:
- Profile picture (Increases profile views by over 200%)
- Profile video (Students get to experience your communication style)
- Teaching Certificates (Prove that you have the experience teach)
- About you Bio (What makes you a great teacher?)
- Quick tags to get students connected to you sooner (Specialize in TOEFL? Then tag it!)
I have uploaded a picture and video that I've saved on my computer. I pre-recorded the video, and simply uploaded it to WeblishPal by clicking the Upload button. The video is very helpful for students who want to get comfortable with your speaking style and your particular English accent. I can also tag my profile based on my key teaching skills and upload scanned certificates. You can edit your profile at any time, and do continue updating it as you gain more experience.

The other pages are for my personal account usage – including my email notification settings, timezone, my teaching rate per hour, connections to my social networks (like Facebook and Twitter), and the usernames to the video accounts I want to use. When I store the usernames to my video accounts in this section, it allows me to connect faster to my classes. (See more on this in the Class Management section)
How do I find students?

You can find and directly connect with students on WeblishPal on the Student pages. Some students write specific learning needs in their profiles. For example, when I click to expand Danny's profile, I can see where he's from, what he's interested in, so that it makes it easier for me to start a conversation. I can message Danny through his profile directly, or I can add him to my favourites list and come back to his profile at another time. This shortlist comes in handy when I've created classes and want to invite students (see more under Inviting Students to Classes).

So now what? Well, I can either post a class on the site for students to see what kind of classes I would teach, even though I know I would customize it to the student specifically.
I'm ready to teach! Help me create a Live Class or a Course on WeblishPal.
Now that you're ready to start teaching, let's look at the two main versions of teaching formats:
- Live Class
- Pre-Set Course
A live class is one where you schedule with the intention of having a live video class. The students can't directly register for this, but they can send you a message to schedule a specific time. Therefore, think of this as an ad to what you would teach, and how much you would charge for the class.

A course, by contrast, is a pre-set course that you create. Students can download these directly. You can add multiple modules or lessons with any type of media (from word to video).

Creating either a class our course is a similar experience. Start this with either Create a Class or Create a Course. Before you publish any of the content, you have a chance to preview and edit.

Enter information including at descriptive title, detailed information about what you'll be teaching, and any files you want to upload. You can also add a cover page to your course and the various modules to help your class and course get noticed.

Want to keep the class of the main list of Classes? You can choose your class visibility to everyone or only those students you invite. This feature is available only on the Live Class section and is great for when you already have private students who you want to connect with.

Once you've entered all the class and course details, and after you've published your course, you can invite students to view and join it in 3 ways:
- From WeblishPal (target students based on interests)
- From your social networks (Facebook, Twitter)
- By email (enter the student's name and email address) or your email account's address book
How do I manage a Live Class?

Once a student has registered for your live class, you will have access to a Class Management page.

In the manage view, I can message all students in the discussion board, upload files, and even message students directly one to one. WeblishPal classes have 4 different video integrations: Skype, MSN, QQ, and a flash-based product called Tokbox. Tokbox is a flash-based video so it will be accessible to non- Mac users only, and loads up in a few when you click Enter class.

You can also use your own Skype, QQ, or MSN video chats for this purpose. A simple way to do that is to leave a message here on the discussion page letting them know that I'll use Skype. If I haven't provided my Skype username in my profile section, I can do it directly on the page here.

When it's time for my class, I come to my class management page, and launch the class through Skype. It will automatically connect to the student's Skype address.

When your class is complete, you can continue to access this class from the classes menu, under "My Completed Classes".
How does the student pay me through WeblishPal?

When your live class is over, simply send a funds request release to the student from the Class Management page. Remember, that in order for the student to have registered for your class, they have paid, and WeblishPal has held the fund in trust, that we release once the service has been provided. By requesting funds release, the amount you charged for the class will be sent to your account within 48 hours automatically, or faster if the student actively releases the funds earlier.

If you created any courses, you will receive a notification when a student makes a purchase. The course fee is added to your account at that point. You can always check your course.
What if there is a dispute over a class fee?

In the event of a disagreement between a teacher and a student over a course fee, WeblishPal can assist through the dispute mechanism. Let say the student doesn't want to release the funds because they say you did not show up to teach the class. The student has to raise an official dispute with WeblishPal, at which point we would help arbitrate the matter. Should any such disagreements arise, we encourage you to message and resolve any concerns with each other directly. WeblishPal takes a fee for resolving the dispute – this is fee is 20% of the class value.
How do I withdrawing my earnings from WeblishPal?

You can take out your class earnings at any time. From your "Account Balance" page, select withdraw button, I will get a PayPal payment. In order for the payment to go through properly, double check that you registered to WeblishPal with the same email address that you use for PayPal. If you didn't, you can go back to your profile settings and update your email address.
